Dr Martens 8053 Padded Collar Black Nappa Leather Shoe 11849001

The 8053 is a unisex shoe that's made for comfort, with a padded ankle, air-cushioned soles and soft, supple Nappa leather. This 5-eye shoe is made with all the classic Doc's DNA, including grooved sides and yellow stitching. It's also made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt, which means the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch. The boot sits on our iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance.

MATERIAL
A lightweight, milled leather, which gives a soft, luxurious handle and appearance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
[Nappa] = Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a clear wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired. In the event of heavy scuffing or loss of colour then clean as before but add a matching coloured wax based shoe polish and buff up the leather with brush and cloth as required.

CONSTRUCTION
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
